Flic Film Cine-color 250D - 36exp
Capture natural daylight scenes with the true look of modern cinema. Hand-spooled in Canada by Flic Film, Cine-Color 250D is authentic Kodak Vision3 250D motion picture film with its original carbon remjet backing fully intact, requiring dedicated ECN-2 development.
Unlike tungsten-balanced cinema films, 250D is natively calibrated for 5500K daylight. That means no amber warming filters are needed to achieve true-to-life skin tones, clean whites, and rich, natural colours under the sun. Coupled with Vision3's renowned dynamic range, this mid-speed stock handles harsh direct sunlight, open shade, and deep shadows with exceptional highlight roll-off and tight, organic grain.
The Highlights
-
Authentic Kodak Vision3 250D Stock: Loaded directly from master cinema rolls into 35mm cassettes, offering the same dynamic latitude, colour nuance, and archival stability used on major feature films.
-
Native 5500K Daylight Balance: Formulated specifically for natural light. Shoot straight outdoors in bright sun, golden hour, or overcast weather without losing lens speed to colour-correction filters.
-
Factory Remjet Intact: The protective anti-static and anti-halation carbon backing remains on the film base, preventing unscripted red haloing around intense specular highlights and preserving crisp edge contrast.
-
ECN-2 Processing Required: Preserving the remjet layer requires development in genuine motion picture ECN-2 chemistry (or an at-home process with an alkaline remjet-removal pre-bath). It is strictly not safe for standard commercial C-41 minilab machines.

⚠️ PROCESSING & DEVELOPMENT NOTICE:
THIS FILM REQUIRES ECN-2 PROCESSING.
Because Cine-Color 500T is a true cinema film with an intact remjet backing layer, it cannot be developed in standard C-41 machines at regular high-street photo labs.
Lab Processing: Send this roll to a specialist lab that offers ECN-2 cinema film processing (or standard labs that explicitly handle remjet removal).
Home Processing: If processing at home, use dedicated ECN-2 chemical kits and pre-wash to dissolve the remjet layer before development.
