Dubblefilm Glitch 200 - 36exp
Distort your reality directly onto traditional silver halide. This is a fresh, full-length 36-exposure roll of dubblefilm GLITCH Black & White 200, pre-exposed with an authentic visual texture that mimics vintage cathode-ray tube (CRT) monitor scan lines, screen static, and analog broadcast transmission noise.
Created in collaboration with analog experimentalists, GLITCH takes a crisp, high-acutance monochrome base and bakes an unpredictable electronic texture straight into the latent image. Rather than a flat digital overlay, the glitch patterns interact dynamically with scene lighting, weaving retro-futuristic digital noise through your composition.
The Highlights
-
Authentic CRT Broadcast Aesthetic: Features horizontal raster patterns, scan lines, and video signal static reminiscent of 1980s VHS tracking loss and security monitor feeds.
-
Dynamic Negative Density Interaction: The pre-exposed lines register as dense silver highlights on the negative. They cut with razor clarity across deep shadows and midtones, while subtly integrating into high-key, sunlit backgrounds.
-
Punchy 200-Speed Monochrome Base: Built on a sharp ISO 200 panchromatic black-and-white stock offering deep blacks, clean contrast, and tight grain.
-
Full 36-Exposure Length: Gives you ample frames to experiment with compositions, test how the electronic patterns interact with different subject matter, and complete a full photo walk.
-
Standard B&W Darkroom Processing: No specialty colour chemicals or remjet pre-baths required. Process at home in your favourite black-and-white chemistry or drop it off at any standard lab running traditional monochrome lines.
